Terms of Service

The deal, in plain English.

A short agreement between you and TripBook AI. Make beautiful private travel books from your photos. Don't misuse the app. That's most of it.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TripBook AI iOS app (the "Service"), provided by TripBook AI ("TripBook," "we," "us"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

  • You can create AI-generated travel books from photos you select.
  • You're responsible for the photos and content you use.
  • AI-generated text may contain mistakes — review before sharing.
  • Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by Apple.
  • Free tier exports include a watermark; Premium removes it.
  • We can't guarantee uninterrupted AI service.
  • Don't misuse the app.

1. What you can do with TripBook

TripBook lets you create AI-generated travel books from photos you select on your iPhone. You can edit pages, regenerate text, and export your finished book as a PDF. The Service is for your personal, non-commercial use.

2. Your content and your responsibility

You own the photos you import and the books you create. We claim no ownership of your photos, trip notes, or finished books.

You are responsible for the photos and content you use in TripBook. By importing a photo, you confirm that you have the right to use it. If a photo includes other identifiable people, you confirm you have permission to include them in a private travel book. TripBook is for private use; do not import or use photos you do not have the right to use.

3. AI-generated content

The chapter titles, captions, and prose TripBook produces are generated by an AI model. AI output can be wrong, awkward, or surprising — it is generated from the trip metadata you provide and the optional photo hints described in our Privacy Policy.

Review AI-generated text before sharing or printing your book. The Service provides editing tools and a regenerate option for every page. We do not guarantee that AI-generated text is accurate, free from errors, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for the final content of any book you export, share, or print.

4. Free and premium features

TripBook offers a free tier and premium options.

  • Free tier: create books, generate stories, and export PDFs. Free-tier exports include a small TripBook watermark on every page.
  • Premium: removes the watermark and unlocks higher-quality export options. Available as a one-time single-book unlock, a monthly or yearly subscription, or a lifetime purchase.

5. PDF export and watermark

You can export your finished book as a PDF at any time. The watermark on free-tier exports is part of the product — you must not remove, obscure, or alter it through any means. Removing the watermark requires a Single Book Export, an active Premium subscription, or Lifetime Premium.

6. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store. Apple charges your Apple ID payment method, manages renewals, and handles refund requests. We never see your payment information.

Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → TripBook AI. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. AI service availability

AI generation depends on third-party AI providers and an internet connection. We do not guarantee that AI generation will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every region at all times. We may pause, change, or replace the AI provider behind the Service at any time. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Acceptable use

When using TripBook you agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate, export, or share content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or violates the rights of others.
  • Import photos you don't have permission to use.
  • Attempt to bypass purchase requirements or remove watermarks from free-tier exports.
  • Use the AI generation endpoint outside the app or in any automated, abusive way.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
  • Interfere with the Service or other users' enjoyment of the app.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripBook AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) US$50.

10. Termination

You can stop using TripBook at any time by deleting the app. If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it through iOS Settings — uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. We may suspend access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service changes materially. If we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top and surface a notice in the app on next launch.

12. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and TripBook AI, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
